Our Wedding

Our story began in Santa Rosa Beach, where we met and went on our first double date with Kacy and Alex- who are now our Maid of Honor and Best Man!That summer before starting college at Florida State University, we spent as much time together as possible, making the most of every chance we had to see each other. Once freshman year began, we were practically inseparable and ended up spending nearly every day together.Our first fall at FSU was one we’ll never forget. We cheered on the Seminoles during their incredible 13–0 season and made memories tons of memories. Then, in the spring, we got our puppy, Doak, and we welcoming him into our little family. The following summer, we both began internships at Rushing Law Firm, where we’ve continued working together every summer since.One of our favorite things to do together is travel. Our first trip was to Steamboat, Colorado, and since then we’ve been fortunate enough to explore Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, Telluride, Alaska, Seattle, Canada, Las Vegas, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Missoula, Bandon Dunes, Crater Lake, and the Redwoods. Each adventure has given us the best memories together. In the fall of 2024, we discovered a shared love for golf and have spent countless hours playing and practicing together ever since. When we’re not golfing, you’ll usually find us enjoying dinner dates, relaxing at the beach, spending time with our family and friends, or taking Doak for a walk.Another fact about us is we are both Real Estate majors in the Florida State College of Business and are excited to begin our final semester before graduating together this fall. As we look ahead, we’re studying for the LSAT and plan to attend law school after we get married in the fall of 2027.We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of the people we love most!

When should I RSVP by?Please RSVP by the date listed on your invitation so we can finalize arrangements with our vendors. We can't wait to celebrate with you! What airport should I fly into?The closest airport is Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP), located approximately 25 minutes from Carillon Beach. Another convenient option is Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS), about one hour away. Where should I stay?We recommend staying within Carillon Beach whenever possible. The community offers beautiful vacation homes, townhomes, and condominiums that are all conveniently located near the wedding festivities. If you prefer a hotel, there are several wonderful options nearby, including The Pearl Hotel, Camp Creek Inn, and Embassy Suites Panama City Beach. What will the weather be like?April is one of our favorite times of year on the Emerald Coast. Average daytime temperatures are typically in the mid-70s with cooler evenings in the low 60s. We recommend bringing a light wrap or jacket for after sunset, especially if you'll be spending time outdoors. Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?Yes! Our celebration will take place outdoors. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes appropriate for walking on grass. Can I bring a guest?Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding. What time should I arrive?We recommend arriving approximately 20–30 minutes before the ceremony so everyone has plenty of time to park, find their seat, and settle in before the festivities begin. Is there parking available?Yes. Parking information will be shared closer to the wedding weekend. Are there things to do nearby?Absolutely! We hope you'll make a vacation out of your visit. Spend time relaxing on the beach, exploring the charming communities of Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seaside, and WaterColor, enjoying fresh Gulf seafood, shopping local boutiques, or simply taking in one of the area's beautiful sunsets. What if I have dietary restrictions?Please include any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can do our best to accommodate you. Should I rent a car?If you're staying within Carillon Beach for the weekend, you may not need one. However, if you'd like to explore the surrounding 30A communities, restaurants, and beaches, renting a car is recommended. Golf carts and bicycles are also popular ways to get around within the area. What is the best way to get around Carillon Beach?Many guests enjoy walking, biking, or renting a golf cart during their stay. The community is designed to be easily explored on foot, making it simple to get between the beach, restaurants, and wedding events. Travel Information

We're so excited to welcome you to Florida's beautiful Emerald Coast! To help make your travel plans as seamless as possible, we've included a few recommendations below.

Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) is the closest airport, located approximately 20–25 minutes from Carillon Beach. It offers nonstop service from many major cities throughout the United States and is our top recommendation due to its close proximity and ease of travel. Rental cars are readily available at the airport, making it simple to reach your accommodations and explore the surrounding 30A communities during your stay.

Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport

Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is another excellent option, located approximately one hour from Carillon Beach. While it requires a slightly longer drive, VPS also offers a wide selection of nonstop flights from destinations across the country and can provide additional scheduling flexibility depending on your departure city.

Transportation

We recommend renting a car if you plan to explore 30A, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seaside, or the surrounding communities during your stay. If you're planning to remain within Carillon Beach for the weekend, rideshare services (Uber and Lyft) are available but can be limited, particularly during evenings and peak travel seasons. We recommend scheduling transportation in advance whenever possible.

Carillon Beach is a private, gated beachfront community offering a charming collection of luxury vacation homes, cottages, townhomes, and condominiums. Many accommodations are just a short walk or golf cart ride from the beach, wedding festivities, restaurants, and community amenities, making it an ideal place for guests to stay throughout the weekend. The community offers accommodations ranging from cozy one-bedroom condominiums to expansive beachfront homes that are perfect for families and larger groups traveling together. Many properties feature private pools, multiple outdoor entertaining spaces, fully equipped kitchens, and stunning Gulf or Lake Carillon views, allowing guests to enjoy a true coastal retreat during their visit. Guests are encouraged to reserve accommodations as early as possible, particularly during peak spring and fall seasons, as vacation rentals in Carillon Beach book quickly. In addition to private rental homes, guests will find a variety of nearby hotels and resorts in Panama City Beach, Inlet Beach, Rosemary Beach, and along Scenic Highway 30A if they prefer traditional hotel accommodations. For the most convenient experience, we recommend staying within Carillon Beach whenever possible. Being within the community allows guests to easily walk, bike, or take a golf cart to wedding events while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings that make Carillon Beach such a special destination.

Start Your Morning Slowly One of our favorite parts of being here is slowing down. Grab a coffee, take a walk along the beach, or enjoy a quiet morning on your balcony before the day begins. The white sand, emerald water, and peaceful atmosphere are what make this area so special. Explore the 30A Beach Towns One of our favorite things to do is explore the charming beach communities along Scenic Highway 30A. Each town has its own personality and is only a short drive away.Spend an afternoon strolling through Rosemary Beach for boutique shopping and dinner, wander the beautiful streets of Alys Beach, or visit Seaside for its colorful cottages, local shops, and iconic food trucks. If you're looking for a quieter afternoon, WaterColor offers beautiful walking paths and waterfront views that are perfect for relaxing. Spend a Day at the Beach If your schedule allows, we highly recommend carving out a little time to simply enjoy the beach. Whether you're reading a book, taking a swim, or watching the sunset with your favorite drink in hand, it's one of the best parts of being here. Enjoy the Local Restaurants Some of our favorite memories on 30A have been made over long dinners with family and friends. The area is filled with incredible restaurants serving fresh Gulf seafood, handcrafted cocktails, and beautiful coastal cuisine. Rent Bikes or a Golf Cart One of the best ways to experience Carillon Beach and the surrounding communities is by bike or golf cart.
